I have lived at WTO for two years plus and am extremely happy here. Once I decided to move to an assisted living facility, I contacted 'A Place for Mom' for some guidelines to help me make a decision. After visiting several possible "homes" I moved to WTO and I couldn't be happier.
On my first visit I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and residents I met. Second, was the appearance. After my move in I continued to be impressed with the amenities, life-long learning opportunities, assistance when needed, the over-all enjoyable living.
I would give each department an A+ with the exception of maintenance. In short there seems to be a delay in communicating the reasonable service request and the actual service provided. All in all WTO is a wonderful place to live and I highly recommend it every opportunity I get.

      Great place for seniors. High quality and consistent standards. My Dad, Aunt and now Mom have all lived there. Highly recommend for independent living. Aunt had good experience w assisted living. Skilled nursing there I did not have good experiences w my Aunt or Dad. Some black Jamaican staff resented caring for whites. That was over ten years ago. Maybe that has changed.

      My parents moved to Westminster last year. The staff has been amazing, especially in my mother’s final days in the skilled nursing area. The nurses and CNAs, the DON, even the business manager were gracious and helpful. I felt that my mom had excellent care. One of the reasons my parents moved there was to be able to be close even if they were in different areas. My dad was able to visit my mom (even in the middle of the night!) and that was a gift. It’s a caring community and I am so happy that dad is there now with his neighbors supporting him as a new widower. Thank you everyone!

      My Mother lived at Westminster Towers for almost twelve years. She chose Westminster because she already knew some residents from playing Bridge with them in her former neighborhood. From the day she moved in, she felt accepted and loved by everyone. Being a socially active person she jumped right into all the social events that were offered as long as she physically could. The staff were always very helpful to get things fixed when needed. My thanks for making my Mother's life so enjoyable up to the end.

While every facility has its faults, the true test of a great workplace is how those faults are addressed and corrected.
